I am happy to announce that I recently got engaged! (I know- I know- squee!). But now comes the time that everyone woman looks forward to her entire life and also dreads at the same time; wedding planning. There seemed like there was SO much that needed done. I didn't have the funds to hire a wedding planner, but I still wanted help. One of my bridesmaids recommended looking into purchasing a few different 'wedding help books', and I began searching online.The Essential Guide To Wedding Planning caught my eye right away and it was one of the first books I bought. I sat down and read it immediately and soaked up every piece of information inside. The book was very well-organized and easy to follow. Even though there are so many different aspects of wedding planning to cover, this book didn't overwhelm me. Because it was organized in such a nice way, it was really easy to follow and remember all of the tips and tricks that I was learning. Unlike a lot of other books out there on this subject, this one was based on EXPERT advice- and I really appreciated the professional opinions that were put in this book. I felt like the author clearly knew what they were talking about and laid out everything in a way that even nervous little 23-year-old fiances like myself could understand.The book is packed with helpful information and really did make me a lot more confident about ensuring my 'big day' was a total success. The book covered everything I'd been worried about including engagement announcements and parties, budgeting the wedding, and planning the wedding. The book was so thorough in all of its information that I never felt like I'd finished reading something but still had questions. It really answered all of my questions regarding the different steps and issues I was concerned about in terms of putting on that big white dress. The book even delved into some subjects I hadn't thought about like wedding planning apps and finding the right dress and look for my wedding.I feel SO much better about planning my wedding and getting married now that I've read this book. I was so worried before, but this book has definitely given me the confidence I needed to not only get through my big day, but enjoy the heck out of it too.

The app had 50,000 ideas on past weddings, which can be filtered based on color theme and various other categories. I create a wedding checklist here and this app helped me track all my wedding task timely. I also created my own budget here and got an approximate clear picture on the expenses.All your dilemma and tension will come to a halt, once you read this book and utilize it in a right way. I got married just over a year ago and the planning for the wedding itself wasn't easy because I didn't really have much help. I have a close friend who is getting married early next year and was thrilled to pick up author Karly Valentine's "The Essential Guide to Wedding Planning" for her. This is your one-stop guide to everything having to do with wedding planning. Whether it is setting the date, finding a venue, bridesmaids, catering, or a host of other details, there is guidance galore in here. There is some fantastic information included about budgeting and I loved the chapter on honeymoon planning because that was my favorite part of the whole experience. Can't recommend this one enough.
This book is an absolute lifesaver! It literally covers everything you need or MIGHT need when it comes to planning your wedding day. I've read a few other "guide" books out there, but this book really is all-inclusive and has been the best that I've come across. It has made things much more stress-free for me and I actually enjoy planning things out now. The timeline and budget portions were especially helpful for me since I had no idea even where to begin. Couldn't recommend this book enough!
I got this book as a gift from my sister. I am planning my own wedding because we have a definite budget but still want to make our day special and share it with our family and friends. This book proved be to a great source of inspiration. It is well laid out and offers some great ideas for wedding planning. Anything that helps me avoid headaches when dealing with wedding suppliers and save money in the process is always appreciated. I also learned a lot of things that I have never considered before, and this alone is well worth getting the book for.
